Your daily brushing and flossing are essential, but even the best home care can’t remove all plaque and tartar. That’s why dental hygiene visits at Krusich Dental in Leawood, KS are so important. Our gentle, thorough cleanings help prevent cavities, gum disease, and bad breath — while keeping your smile looking its best.

Why Regular Hygiene Visits Matter
Skipping professional cleanings can lead to:

- Increased risk of cavities
- Early stages of gum disease (gingivitis) progressing to more serious conditions

Insurance and Routine Dental Hygiene Appointments
Dr. Krusich accepts most of the major dental insurance plans including Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, and Met Life. However each provider, and plans offered within each insurance carrier, vary. Your regular check-up may be covered but we won’t know for sure until you work with our insurance specialist. Our staff will work to determine exactly what your insurance provider offers, the frequency allowed, and the procedures permitted.
Dr. Krusich also realizes that not everyone has dental insurance and that many patients pay for their hygiene visits out-of-pocket. For those patients, we accept, cash, check, or major credit cards.
Even if you have to pay for your visits out-of-pocket, don’t skip regular dental hygiene visits just to save a little money though. Regular visits help spot small problems before they become, larger, more expensive problems, down the road.
