I grew up south of Kansas City in Pittsburg, Kanas. I did my undergraduate degree down there at Pitt State too. I'm a Gorilla. :-)

I came from a large family and I have 6 siblings. As a kid we didn't get to travel much though we'd occasionally get to come up to Kansas City to visit family. I remember my Uncle taking me to my first Royals game like it was yesterday. The anticipation, the deep green color of the grass, just the sheer excitement of it all is what I remember most.
Eventually, I relocated to Kansas City to attend the UMKC School of Dentistry. And ever since, I've called Kansas City home. That's why I was so excited to see this video, Paris of the Plains by Tim Lair. It's a breathtaking video that Tim worked on for over a year. It shows Kansas City in a whole new light. And, it was fun to see familiar landmarks in such a new way. I'm in awe of the beauty Tim captured.
It makes me proud to call Kansas City home.
